they're really the same thing, but they do have a few differences. like the time it takes to write them, the time to receive them, and the effort put into them. while one may end with ily or xoxo, the other may end in a sincere and heartfelt goodbye. let's face it, though, not many of us are really interested in a pen and paper and trusting our emotions with a mail carrier. either way, these are bound to be sent.
